Parliament president Nikos Voutsis expressed the opinion that the issue of FYROM’s name may lead to the reform of the political system, in comments on Wednesday Jan. 24 to Real FM radio station, but clarified that this issue will not change the government’s stability.
“The whole political system (in Greece) may possibly be reshaped to a great degree across the board, around this issue of resolving the FYROM name issue,” Voutsis said.
In addition, “It would be terrible if no solution is found, either due to inflexibility of a current or future FYROM political leadership or due to domestic problems, and have no resolution and, on top of it, a state of division leading to a change in the political parties, such as new parties on the right,” he told the radio station.
